Perempuan Pengkaji Seni

Perempuan Pengkaji Seni (PPS) collective has become a women's forum to studies about art, women, and gender problems. PPS as a step to participate in developing a more diverse and equal arts ecosystem in East Java in the context of gender justice. PPS is expected to be an open forum for female artists and other interdisciplinary artists of course in East Java. PPS was originally presented in 2019, at first we were moved as a writing and discussion group to study art from a woman's perspective, but in 2021, we become more open about various possibilities, for us to study art not only through writing but also in various ways art activation by program, artworks and other because that's how the values we offer are more easily channeled to society. We believe that art is an active, creative, dynamic element that has a direct influence on society.
